The Mary & Norbert Seddoh Education Scholarship Program was developed to assist individuals in their pursuit of post-secondary education and career readiness. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university at the time of submission to qualify. Selected awardees will be invited to intern with the Global Health Institute for Innovation and Leadership, Inc.

Dasia-Marie Mitchell is the oldest of five children and the youngest of three. She recently graduated from Suitland High School and has a strong passion for the arts.
In high school, Ms. Mitchell was very active and involved. She joined the Center of Visual and Performing Arts program and the pom pons dance team where she earned the leadership as secretary. She also had the chance to assist in the guidance counselor’s office at her school. She carried out administrative duties of a guidance counselor and described her learning experience as an awesome opportunity to give back to her school community. Ms, Mitchel enjoys playing the piano, painting, cooking, reading, and office work. She currently attends Shenandoah University where she will major in Vocal Performance.
Her future plans include opening a non-profit performing arts organization to help the less fortunate achieve their passion in their desired performing arts field. She hopes that future generations will be able to come and participate. She is thankful for her family in supporting her so she may support others in their future.
