Gloria Mensah is a licensed psychotherapist at a private practice, Treasures of the Heart Therapeutic Services in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Gloria received her M.A. from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a B.A. in American Studies with emphasis in Sociology, Psychology and African American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
She currently works full time at a state level behavioral health agency as a provider relations specialist. In her role, she provides training, technical assistance, and clinical guidance to community based behavioral and substance use agencies.
As the owner and clinical director of her private practice, Gloria’s brings several years of clinical experience, which includes implementing evidence-based practices and working with individuals struggling from substance use disorders, trauma, stress, anxiety and depression. Gloria’s therapeutic work focuses on transitional age youth, and adult populations from immigrant populations, first-generation, women of color—specifically women of African descent. Gloria’s therapeutic approach leads with the notion that healing begins at awareness of one’s hopes and dreams from the present into the future; and the individual is the center from which healing is directed and achieved.
With a Master’s Degree in International Development Porscha Winston has focused most of her career on fragile states, countering violent extremism, and the transition from humanitarian aid to development assistance. She began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer and since 2009, she has worked with local community groups, foreign governments and ministries, country offices and large and small NGOs on the development of projects that improve overall standard of living. She has served as a team leader, coordinator and project director throughout her career. Ms. Winston also holds a degree in Philosophy from UC Berkeley.
Ifedolapo A. Bamikole, JD, MPH, is a public health and health policy leader with over a decade of experience advancing equitable health outcomes through government service, nonprofit leadership, and cross-sector collaboration. She currently serves as a federal health policy specialist, where her work focuses on regulatory oversight, compliance, and consumer protection within large-scale public health programs. Her career reflects deep expertise in health systems, public policy, and the intersection of law, public health, and community well-being.
Ms. Bamikole is the Founder and Executive Director of The Fibroid Collective, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing racial disparities in fibroid diagnosis, treatment, and research through advocacy, storytelling, and policy engagement. She also leads HEWConsulting LLC, where she advises organizations on health equity strategy, policy analysis, and data-informed decision-making.
She holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Public Health and across her professional and civic roles, Ms. Bamikole is committed to strengthening community infrastructure, expanding economic opportunity, and advancing innovative, collaborative approaches to global and domestic health challenges. She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors of the Global Health Institute for Innovation and Leadership and to contribute her expertise in support of its mission.
Corstella Johnson is the Executive Officer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Intergovernmental and External Affairs – Office of the Regional Director in Region 7 (Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska). In this role, she serves as the chief advisor to the presidentially appointed Regional Director, providing strategic leadership on public health initiatives, programmatic policies, and cross-sector issues impacting local, state, tribal, and federal communities.
With over 14 years of service at HHS, Mrs. Johnson has been instrumental in shaping policies that enhance public health outcomes. Prior to her current position, she was the Region 7 Public Health Advisor for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), where she played a critical role in addressing emerging public health challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic. She provided policy guidance, program evaluation, and technical assistance to health officials, ensuring the implementation of evidence-based strategies to support vulnerable populations.
Mrs. Johnson holds a Master’s in Public Health and Health Promotion from The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Sciences and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Her commitment to advancing public health and intergovernmental collaboration continues to drive her impact in the field.
